Experimental Drug MZAPP TKM-Ebola cures EBOLA infected patients

New experimental drug ZMapp TKM-Ebola have successfully cured three Ebola infected patients in United States of America and which are out of danger. Of these three patient treated with new drug two were doctor who contracted with Ebola Virus while working in hospital at Liberia. ZMaap is combination of three monoclonal antibodies.


New investigational drug was cleared by US FDA not in the routine clearance as it take at office of agency, rather it was cleared as emergency for use in immediate treatment of Ebola virus infection which has no options available for treatment.

The first two patients Nancy Writebol and Dr. Kent Brantly, received this new drug treatment at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Third person also a doctor, Dr. Richard Sacra was successfully treated and release from hospital after tested negative for test for EBOLA virus at The Nebraska Medical Center hospital.
He was treated with experimental drug TKM-Ebola, developed by Tekmira and Biocryst Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Richard Sacra was also given treatment with serum donated by  Dr. Kent Brantly who survived after treatment of experimental drug for Ebola ZMapp.
